This car is something like Lexus’ great white whale. We know it’s out there and is awesome, but it feel like it’ll never be in our grasp. Well Hopefully, that’ll change soon if Car Magazine is to be believed.

So what’s the F all about? In Lexus terms, F stands for Fuji Speedway, the development home of the Lexus F performance mark. Lexus has established several levels of F performance starting from the pinnacle LFA all the way to an accessory line custom tailored with the F philosophy in mind.

According to Consumer Reports the 2014 Lexus IS 250, a luxury/sport sedan, “is neither sporty nor luxurious.” The publication says the car “scored too low to be recommended,” falling behind the BMW 328i, Mercedes-Benz C250, Lincoln MKZ 2.0 EcoBoost and Volvo S60 T5.
