After taking the pan off, I saw a lot of what I thought was sludge in the pickup. Thankfully, it was just a bunch of FIPG. I cleaned it all out and let it soak overnight in some gasoline. It cleaned right up the next day with some compressed air and a pick. Remember that the pickup has its own gasket too that is a one-time use piece.
